Several outdated trends have seemed to slowly pop back up over 2020 and 2021. These trends range from dances, fashions, hobbies, foods, and more. One major trend that has resurfaced is Astrology. The Oxford definition of Astrology is “the study of the movements and relative positions of celestial bodies interpreted as having an influence on human affairs and the natural world.”

The main reason for astrology is to direct people to live a certain way, inform the people of the course of their life, and educate people about their traits and characteristics. The 12 Astrological signs are assigned at the time of birth and depend on your birth month. The 12 signs include; Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.

These 12 signs are split up into 4 different categories including Fire, Earth, Air, and Water. The Fire signs include Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. The Water signs include Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. The Earth signs include Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. The Air signs include: Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius.

Each astrological sign is associated with characteristics and descriptions common to  that sign.

  • Aries, the Fire sign: adventurous, passionate, and spontaneous.

  • Taurus, the Earth sign: intelligent, dependable, hardworking, dedicated, and stubborn.

  • Gemini, the Air sign: gentle, affectionate, curious, adaptable, ability to learn quickly and exchange ideas.

  • Cancer, the Water sign: tenacious, highly imaginative, loyal, emotional, sympathetic, and persuasive.

  • Leo, the Fire sign: confidence, comfortable being the center of attention, drama-adoring, and ambition.

  • Virgo, the Earth sign: loyal, analytical, kind, hardworking, and practical.

  • Libra, the Air sign: cooperative, diplomatic, gracious, fair-minded, and social.

  • Scorpio, the Water sign: resourceful, brave, passionate, stubborn, and a true friend.

  • Saggitarius, the Fire sign: generous, idealistic, and great sense of humor.

  • Capricorn, the Earth sign: responsible, disciplined, self-control, and good managers.

  • Aquarius, the Air sign:  progressive, original, independent, and humanitarian.

  • Pisces, the Water sign: compassionate, artistic, intuitive, gentle, wise, and musical.

Also associated with Astrology and signs are Birth Charts also known as Natal Charts. These charts can be created simply by going on any Natal Chart Website and entering your date of birth, your exact time of birth, and place of birth to generate your birth chart online. By supplying this information you are then told the position of planets, sun, and moon at the time of your birth.

Whether or not Astrology is an exact science, people seem pretty enraptured with its spiritual and psychological connections to the real world, as we see its major comeback into 2020-2021 culture.
