Auks Football took on the Bulldogs of Brandywine High School on Thursday, November 4th. After the forfeit by AI Dupont last week, Brandywine allowed the Archmere football and cheer teams to have their senior night on their field. It was a moving ceremony and was greatly appreciated by all players and parents.

The game was dominated by the Auks offense. Chris Albero was 9 for 15 for 159 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Senior class had a standout night: Johnny Kim rushed 6 times for 61 yards, scored a touchdown and had 3 receptions for 57 yards; Conor Udovich had 3 receptions for 51 yards and 2 touchdowns; and Micah Walker rushed 6 times for 35 yards and a touchdown. The final touchdown of the game came from junior Mike Kawalec after an 18-yard run; after his touchdown, he kicked his own field goal.

Defensively the Auks held the Bulldogs to 0 points. Cam Kilicoglu had 6 tackles; Kevin DiGregorio had 5. Additionally, both senior Jackson Nagle and junior Justin Hagenberg had interceptions.

The Auks advance to 9-0 on the season. On Friday night Archmere will take on Delaware Military Academy in the last game of the regular season. Check AuksSports.com for ticket information.
